Fudan's Course Registration

1. Chinese Language Student

You will have a language positioning test before you enroll in the language school (ICES i.e. International Cultural Exchange School). You will have a set of Chinese language courses according to your language level in fields of listening, speaking, writing and reading. You are going to take about 20 hours per week throughout 18 weeks in one semester. But you can't take other subjects in other schools.  

2. General Advanced Student

You will do the course registration by yourself in the course registration system.

Username: Fudan student number. Remember it because it's very useful during your exchange study at Fudan.

Password: last six digits of your passport number, which you provided in your application. If there are letters in the last six, please substitute letters with number 0. If you still can't log in, please try 666666.

* You can also use the Username and Password to log in the wireless internet on campus.

Please use the Course Code (such as MANA110046.01) to do course registration.

Course registration phases:

Phase 1 (restricted): course registration in your own major or program

Phase 2 (restricted): course registration in your own major or program

Phase 3 (open): add available courses only, no dropping

Chinese-taught and English-taught course outlines can be downloaded in Course Registration System if available. Otherwise, please ask the instructors on the first class.

H stands for Handan Campus

Z stands for Zhangjiang Campus

F stands for Fenglin Campus

JB stands for Jiangwan Campus Teaching Building

GX stands for Guanghua Xifu Building (west wing); GD stands for Guanghua Dongfu Building (east wing)

QB stands for Teaching Building of School of Journalism

* Notes: The exact course schedules for senior advanced student are not available until the semester starts. The course registration is in Chinese. So please come to Room 105 of Foreign Affairs Office during enrollment week and after the semester starts. We will help you register courses in the system individually.
